Every wardrobe needs a cool cozy sweater, and this sweater is perfect for every mood and body shape.
The shape is slightly boxy and comfortable to wear, the elongated shoulder line falls on the arm and softens the boxiness slightly. The spectacular added detail to the bell shape sleeves, makes this sweatshirt stand out from the normal sweaters you can buy on the high street.
We have all fallen in love with it! Either worn with a longer top underneath, leggings and trainers for a sporty look or with a pair of high-rise trousers such as the Makaio Trousers and a white shirt underneath for a more office everyday look. This sweater is incredibly versatile.
The pattern sizes up quite short. I have added 6cm to the length of mine as I’m a little too old to be baring my midriff!! And id recommend adding to the length of the sleeve by about the same.

Rustic Blue
Tree Green
The fabric is a Rustic heavy weight brushed back cozy sweatshirt in a choice of 2 colours. Rustic Blue stripe, which is a denim blue and the Tree Green stripe.
You will also receive a length of cream cuffing for the neck binding and the sleeve Cuffs.
Sewing with sweatshirt is fabulous for beginners, the knit doesn’t roll at the edges like jersey and feeds perfectly under the machine with no slipping.
A standard sewing machine using a stretch stitch or a zigzag works perfectly, alternatively if you have an overlock use that.
We recommend using ballpoint pins, to not damage the knitted structure

To complete the project, you will need the following tool and equipment:
A regular sewing machine
An overlock is helpful to finish off the raw edges of this fabric, but a zigzag can also be used on a standard sewing machine.
Sharp fabric scissors are recommended (and don’t let anyone to use them to cut anything but fabric!!)
Ballpoint pins (normal pins can snag the fabric)
A tape measures
A small ruler if you have one
A seam ripper (even the most experienced sewisters need one of these!!)
A cup of Tee, Coffee or a glass of wine!
