There are two gorgeous prints on a woven viscose base to choose from, in blue and green, both on a black background.

Sewing a dress from viscose fabric can be a popular choice for several reasons. Viscose, also known as rayon, is a semi-synthetic fabric made from wood pulp.

Viscose is perfect for dressmaking because it’s soft, breathable, and drapes well, offering comfort and elegance. Its versatility allows for various styles. Additionally, it’s easy to sew, making it a practical choice for creating stylish dresses.

It’s also an Eco-friendly option, produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp, making it a more environmentally friendly choice compared to certain synthetic fabrics.

Viscose is generally easy to sew, a good option for both beginners and experienced sewers. It behaves well under a sewing machine and is less prone to fraying compared to some other fabrics.

We recommend using sharp fine pins, this fabric can snag easily with blunt pins or needles.
