Our latest boxes contain everything you need to create your own look, we think the MAKAIO combines comfort and style in a unique way, dressed down with a sweatshirt and trainers or worn with boots and a blouse for work. wear them your way.
The pattern comes with different pockets to choose from, our sewing tutorial includes the front slant pockets.
You will learn to sew with stretch fabric, to sew pleats, sew darts and pockets and much more.
This pattern is recommended to be sewn using an elasticated knitted fabric. Due to our choice of a woven with elastane, the fabric does not have as much elasticity. We therefore recommend taking the next size up from the finished measurement chart. Slight adjustments to the waistband will be explained in the included sewing tutorial available in both English and German.
The fabric is a Twill Woven Polyester/Viscose stretch. This is perfect for trousers, warm to wear, enough weight to hang beautifully and enough stretch to flatter any shape.
There is a choice of 3 colours, from the Denim Blue which has a very denim like structure, A classic Midnight blue and jet black. A must for every wardrobe.
The box also includes a light weight jersey Charmeuse for the lining of the pockets in several bright colours, this will add a little interest to the trousers.

The short film will include tips and tricks for sewing with Stretch Twill Fabric, including using interfacing, sewing a Pin-tuck pleat too sewing pockets for a lovely finish to your Trousers.
A regular sewing machine
An overlock is helpful to finish off the raw edges of this fabric, but a zigzag can also be used on a standard sewing machine.
Sharp fabric scissors are recommended (and don’t let anyone to use them to cut anything but fabric!!)
