Description

The Perfect Puff Sleeve Top is a fabulous Beginner friendly sew. This beautiful simple top comes in 2 versions. The kits have everything that is needed to sew version A, and I have a little treat, as I will  be providing a hack in the Tutorial how you can change the front of the top to a Tie-Up top which is on trend at the moment.

I have sourced 4 different coloured heavy weight washed Linens, which hold the shape of the sleeve beautifully.

This top is a classic basic staple Top, for every wardrobe.

The Perfect Puff Sleeve Top is designed to have a relaxed and roomy A-line silhouette with a touch of shaping for a flattering fit. This easy to sew pattern includes two views, both feature a wide style neckline and dropped shoulders with a perfectly dramatic puff sleeve that hits just below the elbow. The length sits just below the natural waist giving the option for a tucked or untucked look. View B has a front button placket for elevated styling.

Pattern includes sizes XXS – 6XL (Bust 31” – 64” / 79cm – 162cm)

We cannot wait to see what you make!

Each box contains the correct amount of fabric to sew yourself either versions, or the hack version I will provide information for on the filmed included Tutorial.

The fabric is an Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Linen Cotton mix. Linen is a p choice for a sewing beginner:

  • It won’t stretch while you’re sewing
  • It hides imperfections thanks to its natural texture and slub
  • It’s easy to sew, both by hand and on a machine
  • It’s machine washable

Linen is an environmentally friendly choice, it requires less water and fewer pesticides to grow than cotton. It is biodegradable, so after its long life it will gently decompose without leaving any waste. All parts of the flax plant can be used, meaning there are no harmful bi-products as a result of our processing and manufacturing procedures.
There is a choice of 3 classic colours:

Soft Beige

Basil Green

Pearl white

Sky Blue

We recommend using sharp fine pins, this fabric can snag easily with blunt pins or needles.
